Brilliant on a magnificent scale, the Meru feature luxuriant jungle, coursing rivers, verdant swamp, khaki grasslands, and gaunt termite cathedrals all under the sky’s great blue bowl. Little visited and utterly unspoiled, few places are comparable to the remote and rugged atmosphere found here. Visitors can see Grevy's zebras, elephants, Bohor reedbucks, hartebeests, pythons, puff adders, cobras, buffalos, and more than 427 recorded species of birds.
After breakfast drive to the north as you enjoy the agricultural zone of, Mangoes, Pineapples, Pawpaws, Oranges, Roses, Wheat, Coffee, and Tea. Cross the Line of Equator and climb Mount Kenya to an altitude of 3000 meters. Arrive at Ikweta Safari Camp for lunch.. At 1530hrs, Have a game drive in search of Grevy Zebras, Lions, African Elephants, and many more. Be back at the Camp for dinner and overnight..
Have a full day safari with a picnic lunch. Meru is known for the Black and White Rhinoceros of the swamp. Look for Hippopotamus, Elephants, Lions, and Reticulated Giraffes. The famous conservationist's Joy and George Adamson used to leave here. They introduced the Lioness called 'Elsa' into nature. Due to her passion to the environment, she received a World Medal 'Greenfell Gold'. Wrote her book ' Living Free and Forever Free'. Be back to the Camp at 1800hrs.
Have an early game drive when the animals are active. See the beautiful Sunrise with Baobab Tree. Have breakfast and leave for Samburu. Arrive for lunch at Samburu Ashnil Camp. The Park is unique for its Big Five; Grevy Zebra, Giraffe Antelope, Oryx, Reticulated Giraffe and Somali Ostrich. Look for Great Elephant Migration crossing the Brown River. In 2002 we had a lioness that had adapted a young ones of Oryx. Visit the Buffalo Springs. Watch for the beautiful Sunset. Be back to the Camp at 1830hrs.
Have an early game drive when the animals such as lions, cheetahs and leopards are active. Look for the beautiful Sunrise with Doum Palm Tree.. Return for breakfast and leave for Nairobi with lunch on the way. Arrive to your residence or Jomo Kenyatta International Airport.
